First, let's talk about "International perspectives" which many people may be interested in.
Since ancient times, Japan has created and developed its own culture, products and services while interacting with other countries. Internationalization is, so to speak, the fate of Japan.
However, now that we have entered a full-fledged global society, we need to not just follow the trend of internationalization, but also objectively determine the path we should take.
To that end, we believe that it is essential to have the opportunity to come into direct contact with people and cultures of other countries and to foster true "International perspectives"
This feeling is reflected in, for example, the "GLOBAL CAMPUS PROGRAM", which started in 2017 and is for all students enrolled in the Faculty of Language Studies to study abroad. In addition, the network built in the 1990s by setting up its own campus overseas has now expanded to 80 universities and research institutes. "Living exchanges" that are not just systems, such as exchange programs and research exchanges, are actively carried out.
Practical learning and Open mindedness

Next, about "Practical learning".
When you go out into society, you are exposed to all kinds of environments. In order to respond, it is necessary to have the ability to identify and implement the knowledge and skills that should be acquired. The word that indicates this is "Practical learning."
In addition to acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to play an active role in society, make good use of it. Think logically and send. Alternatively, acquire new knowledge / skills based on the acquired knowledge / skills. That is the "Practical learning" of Teikyo University.
And "Open mindedness".
It goes without saying that it is important to have a solid perspective on your own. But on top of that, it's just as important to learn the ideas of others and perspectives outside your discipline.
By adding other axes to your own axis, you will develop an eye that allows you to learn more about the essence of things and pursue them. Teikyo University values this idea as "Open mindedness".
From the time of its founding, not only researchers and educators, but also people from companies and government offices have been invited as faculty members to provide a place for learning with "Open mindedness".

Human resources with such power are none other than the “One’s way” that we advocate in our Educational Philosophy, that is, human resources who stand on their own and control themselves.
In addition, many distinctive researches have been conducted in the research field, and the results have been widely returned to the educational activities within the university and to the world.
By spending time in such an environment, you should be able to develop into human resources who find it interesting to work on new things and accumulate quests, and to find value in applying what they have learned to society.
