On the day of the national competition, 12 teams from around 600 applications made it through the preliminary rounds in each region to make it to the final round, where they continued to give unique and high-quality presentations.

Mr. Kato participated in the support program of Startup Hub Tokyo TAMA, a start-up support facility, and has been working on creating a business plan with the support of Tomohisa Ito, the facility's concierge, and others. This is a business plan related to independent research entitled "Pochari - Genius Discovery Project", which includes managing a platform where elementary school students can share the content of independent research they have actually undertaken, providing independent research manuals for teachers, and organizing actual independent research events. The main business content is implementation. With this plan, we won the Kanto Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry Director's Award at the Tokyo competition held on Friday, December 1st last year, and decided to participate in the national competition this time. He gave a presentation about the same plan at the national competition and answered questions from the judges without hesitation.

After the tournament, Kato said, ``It's an honor to be able to advance to the national tournament in this memorable 20th tournament. It's thanks to the cooperation of many people that we were able to advance to the national tournament. We would like to thank all those involved for their cooperation. In commercializing this service, we conducted interviews with many people, and we were especially surprised by the strained work situation on the part of teachers. As the number of teacher applicants is decreasing, we will commercialize this plan and provide support in order to make the work of teachers as easy as possible and create a future where students, who will be responsible for the future, can willingly apply to become teachers. I hope to do so," he said of his future goals.
