The 38th Teikyo Festival was held at Teikyo University's Fukuoka Campus on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th, 2024. Under this year's theme of "Circle - A Teikyo Festival created by the local community," we were able to spend two wonderful days with all of you who came to the event.
This year's Teikyo Festival included many events such as food stalls, stage performances by high school students, a mobile petting zoo, commemorative photo opportunities with police and fire vehicles, a live performance by a light music club, and a fitting experience for practical training. In addition, each department implemented attractive projects that made use of their areas of expertise. The projects that the students had enthusiastically prepared were enjoyed by many visitors. In addition, Omuta City's official mascot "Jabo" livened up the bingo tournament, and several types of food trucks were set up, creating a lively atmosphere.
On Sunday the 20th, Omuta City Mayor Yoshitaka Seki visited the school and gave participants a chance to experience the planning of each department and a tea ceremony. The efforts of the festival executive committee in meetings and preparations paid off, making the Teikyo Festival an unforgettable one.
Thank you to everyone who attended and to the companies who sponsored the event.
