Kasumigaseki CampusProfessor Sugimoto will appear on NHK General TV's "100 Years of Broadcasting! Future Visual Lab"

Professor Maki Sugimoto of the Innovation Lab Okinaga Research Institute of Teikyo University will appear on NHK General TV's "Experience Over 100 Years of Broadcasting! Future Video Lab," which will be broadcast on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
The program will introduce futuristic experiences that make full use of cutting-edge technology, such as immersive technology, which makes you feel as if you have entered the world of the images, in connection with NHK's "Ultra Experience! Future Visual Lab" project, which is being held as part of its 100th anniversary of broadcasting. The program will also introduce surgical support using "Holoeyes MD," an immersive technology that has been put to practical use as a medical device by Holoeyes Inc., a certified venture company spun out of Teikyo University. Be sure to also take a look at the world's first spatial computing surgical support using Apple Vision Pro, which is the result of research conducted with the institute's Innovation Lab.
