Senior Assistant Professor Shuhei Nomura gave a presentation on research seeds at the 22nd Omuta Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Meeting atFukuoka Campus.

On Friday, February 21, 2025, the 22nd Omuta Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Exchange Meeting was held at the Daifuku Kasho Hall (Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture), where Shuhei Nomura, Senior Assistant Professor at Teikyo University's Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology, gave a presentation on research seeds. This exchange meeting is organized by the Omuta Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Exchange Meeting Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is composed of Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology, Ariake National College of Technology, the Omuta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Omuta City, and the Omuta City Regional Revitalization Center, a public interest incorporated foundation. Each year, each educational institution presents research seeds with the aim of promoting industry-academia-government collaboration and contributing to the development of local industries.

At this networking event, Senior Assistant Professor Nomura spoke on the theme of "Vision reconstruction technology to restore lost light," which attracted a lot of interest from the audience. In the special lecture, Hideki Baba of the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan, gave a speech titled "Carbon neutrality that small and medium-sized enterprises should work towards." His lecture was very helpful for the medical industry in terms of the way small and medium-sized enterprises think about how to balance productivity improvement with SBT (Science Based Targets), and the need to reduce unnecessary carbon dioxide by looking at the entire supply chain. Going forward, we will continue to collaborate with local industries, share information, and make contributions in order to create regional power and realize regional revitalization.
