On Thursday, June 26, 2025, in a seminar class taught by Professor Ueda Kenichiro of the Department of Faculty of Economics, Department of Business Administration, Teikyo University, Hideaki Kikuchi, Daiki Hotta, and Sumika Morino from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Pension Bureau were invited to give a lecture and panel discussion on pensions.
The lecture explained the origins and structure of the pension system, the current pension system reform, and the differences between pension systems in Japan and overseas, and it was impressive to see the participating students listening intently to the lecture. In addition, the roundtable discussion after the lecture was lively, with students asking questions to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare staff about the pension system and iDeCo.
Our university will continue to create an environment where students can learn independently.
