Students from Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology participated in the "Omuta Daijayama Festival"Fukuoka Campus

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, 33 volunteer students, faculty and staff from Teikyo University's Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology participated in the Omuta Daijayama Festival, held in the center of Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The faculty aims to develop human resources who will contribute to regional medical care, and as part of its contribution to the community, it participates in the Ten Thousand People Dance, which is part of the festival program.

All participants from our university wore red happi coats and red Teikyo uniforms and paraded down the main street, which had been turned into a pedestrian zone. Dancing to the rhythm of the annual "Tanko-bushi" and "Daijayama-bayashi" songs, the students also felt the joy of coming into contact with local culture and enlivened the festival with their dynamic dancing. Cheers and applause erupted from the roadside, and the smiles and enthusiasm of the participants spread throughout the venue. After the general dance, the Gion Rokuzan Procession, Competition and Otome took place, creating a lively atmosphere.
Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology will continue to actively engage in Community Engagement.
