I learned hospitality through lunch & table manners class, hotel manners seminar, and Tokyo Disneyland Park experience.

Since 2015, we have been conducting off-campus training (special classes) for first-year students every year. Every year, with the full cooperation of Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay, we hold a lunch & table manners class and a hotel manners seminar "Hospitality" heart "and" shape "" to experience the manners as a member of society as soon as possible. It is a valuable learning opportunity to learn about hospitality and learn about hospitality. In addition, in the park experience at Tokyo Disneyland, you can experience things that you cannot learn in classroom lectures by directly touching the hospitality that the cast is practicing. Among the events of Teikyo University Junior College, students are particularly interested in it, and it has been well received in the student questionnaire every year.
Currently, we are not conducting off-campus training to prevent new coronavirus infectious diseases.

Purpose of off-campus training

The lunch and table manners class at Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay and the hotel manners seminar are aimed at learning table manners, which are essential for working adults, and at the same time, interacting with each other and between students and teachers to promote friendship. Furthermore, by actually interacting with the people who work at the hotel and Tokyo Disney Resort, we aim to understand the meaning and significance of working, and to create a retrospective report after the training to further deepen our learning.

Flow of off-campus training

The training begins with taking a lunch and table manners course, and not only how to eat food and how to handle tableware, but also the people who participate in the dining place eat peacefully while respecting each other's position. You will learn about the behavior that is required as a member of society after graduation. After that, you will take the Hotel Manners Seminar "Hospitality" Heart "and" Shape "" to learn the basic reception, customer service manners, and communication methods practiced at Hotel Okura Tokyo. Finally, we will have a Tokyo Disneyland Park experience (free action) and enhance the learning effect by actually checking and experiencing what we learned in the seminar.
