I want to obtain a university graduate qualification.
Although I graduated from university,
I want to study the field of information science again.
While continuing to work,
I want to learn new things.
I can't attend a day-to-day university, but
I don't want to give up on learning.
For you,
Teikyo University Correspondence Course
There is a choice to learn...
Information for 2026 is posted.
Correspondence Course are regular university education courses that provide a place of study for people who have difficulty commuting to university due to geographical or time constraints.
Upon graduation, students will receive the same "Bachelor of Engineering (Engineering)" degree as the regular course. Correspondence Course that allow you to obtain an engineering degree are rare even in Japan.
At Teikyo University's Department of Information Science, you can systematically learn information science from universal basic knowledge to applied technology.
Students who aim to graduate from a four-year university and obtain a bachelor's degree in engineering can enroll 1st year or transfer to their second or 3rd year.
Students who do not aim to graduate from university but wish to study a specific subject.
If you are a 1st year or 2nd year transfer student and graduate from our university after completing the specified number of subjects and credits, you can obtain a license by applying individually to the Board of Education in each prefecture after graduation.

Learn with e-learning (LMS) content using the Internet.
Passing all the assignments in the on-demand teaching materials will qualify you to take the subject acquisition exam.

Students will study based on designated texts and reference books and write reports based on their assignments.
Passing the specified number of assignments will qualify you to take the subject acquisition exam.

A combination of face-to-face classes and LMS-based learning will be held over 3 or 2 weekends.
The venue is Tokyo. However, only "teaching practice guidance" and "teaching practical training" will be conducted in Tochigi Prefecture.
Please refer to the recruitment guidelines for details of each subject.

Learn work and life at a correspondence university
Enriching working students
Teikyo University Faculty of Science and Engineering
Department of Information Science Correspondence Course 4th year
Mr. Ohme Miyazaki
Working at an IT company
I graduated from the Faculty of Liberal Arts and currently work as a backend engineer.
Up until now, I have studied computer science on my own, but in order to acquire the correct knowledge as an engineer, I enrolled in the Teikyo University Correspondence Course, which allows me to learn computer science from the basics while working, and aims to obtain a bachelor's degree (engineering). I have enrolled.
This course teaches methods for analyzing problems using figures using points and lines. The purpose is to clarify the properties of graphs and to analyze abstracted phenomena and phenomena using graphs. I have experience in developing systems that handle location information, but by learning graph theory, I was able to understand the theoretical underpinnings and develop my application skills.
There are various ethical issues that engineers and researchers with specialized knowledge should consider. We will discuss the ethical issues faced by engineers, with reference to specific cases. Up until now, I had not had the opportunity to learn about the ethics of engineers, so I was glad that I was able to enroll in university and study this subject.
As the school year progresses, I will be able to study more specialized subjects, so I am really looking forward to the future. Although I can't say that I am fully fulfilled as I have only just begun the journey toward my career goal, I feel that I am getting closer to my goal every day. First of all, I want to graduate from university as soon as possible and realize my goal.
I wake up at 5am and study until 9am before work on weekdays and until 12pm on weekends. I basically spend my weekend afternoons studying, but I also try to talk to my friends about my situation and make sure they understand so that my relationships with them don't deteriorate because of studying.
The good thing about online classes is that you can relearn things you didn't understand.

This is a correspondence graduate Graduate School for people who want to learn deeply about information science, including those who work in information-related occupations. We aim to develop information engineers with practical comprehensive skills who can respond to rapid technological innovation in the information field. In Graduate School, you will research a topic that interests you and compile a master's thesis. Upon completion, you will receive a Master's degree in Engineering. After completing your studies, you can advance to the doctoral program (on-campus program) at Graduate School school and aim to obtain a doctoral degree by continuing your research while receiving guidance.
The learning content consists of three groups: "Division of Informatics Science Subjects", "Special Seminars" and "Special Research" for master's research. In addition to information control engineering and wireless information and communication engineering, you can also study new areas such as cryptography and information security theory, biological information processing theory, and intelligent system theory.
You can choose from a variety of research themes under the guidance of faculty who have been active on the front lines of research and development at companies and research institutions in the information and communications field, as well as faculty with extensive experience who have been involved in education and research at universities for many years. Interactive instruction will be provided using a web conferencing system between faculty and graduate students at their convenience.
We have a long-term study system in which students systematically study and complete a curriculum over a certain period (3 or 4 years) beyond the standard study period (2 years). Please discuss this with the faculty member you wish to teach in advance.
Division of Informatics Science has been designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as eligible for the General Education and Training Benefit System. Certain conditions apply to benefits. For details of this system, please check the websites of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and Hello Work.
Those who have obtained a high school type 1 (information) license. You can earn it by completing the specified number of credits.

Classes are taught through text or media. A report will be submitted at the end of the text class. Subject acquisition exams are conducted for all subjects, and if you pass, you will receive credits.

In order to develop thesis research and problem-solving skills that are common to master's research, students will read designated academic papers and specialized books under the guidance of their supervisors.

Students will write their master's thesis under the same supervisor as the special seminar.
After an interim presentation, a final master's thesis presentation will be held for review and evaluation.
