Basic policy regarding student support at Teikyo University and Teikyo University Junior College
Teikyo University and Teikyo University Junior College (hereinafter referred to as "the University") are in accordance with the Practical learning spirit of "School Philosophy is to cultivate professional human resources who base everything on hard work, eliminate prejudice, acquire wide-ranging knowledge, can make decisions from an international perspective, and have creativity and a rich humanity through practical learning." In order to ensure that all students have equal educational opportunities, are healthy in both body and mind, and are able to live a “One’s way” life, and to learn to live their own way, we will provide the following environment and student support.
Study support
We will create a learning environment that allows all students to concentrate on their studies and acquire knowledge and skills.
We will improve our scholarship system and thoroughly publicize it so that students with financial difficulties do not have to give up on the opportunity to study, and so that all students can enthusiastically pursue their studies.
Student life support
To ensure that all students can lead healthy student lives, we will take measures to prevent incidents or accidents involving students and thoroughly manage the safety of facilities and equipment, among other things, to create a comfortable student living environment.
To ensure that all students are able to live fulfilling student lives in good health both physically and mentally, we will appropriately allocate health management departments and counseling desks and improve their functions.
In order to guarantee the human rights of all students, we will take measures to prevent harassment, such as raising awareness among faculty and staff, and will take appropriate measures to resolve problems, such as setting up a consultation desk.
We encourage and support participation in extracurricular and sports activities so that all students can develop independence and cooperation in group activities and lead fulfilling student lives both physically and mentally.
Support for Career Development
To enable all students to realize their career aspirations, we will support the acquisition of knowledge and skills through Practical learning and will also enhance career support such as finding employment.
Support for students with disabilities
To ensure that students with disabilities do not have to give up on their studies due to their disability, we provide support based on the "Basic Policy for Supporting Students with Disabilities at Teikyo University and Teikyo University Junior College."

We will create an environment for international exchange so that all students can understand different cultures and develop an international sensibility.

We will recognize, respect and strive to foster understanding of diversity so that all students, including those who wish to enroll in our university, will not be subjected to discrimination or harassment on the grounds of disability, gender, sexual minority status, nationality, culture or religion.
