About the "TeikyoSat-4" project
About the "TeikyoSat-4" Project

We aim to creat a micro ISS (International Space Station) for microsatellite

"Teikyo Sat-4", which is being developed by the engineering club "Space Systems Study Group" in Department of Aerospace Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering and Technology, is a microsatellite with a side of about 50 cm and a weight of about 50 kg. The mission is to reduce the cost of space development, to expand the base of space utilization by amateur radio, to succeed in microbial observation, and to contribute to the field of Life Science (re-challenge TeikyoSat-3). The production of artificial satellites is divided into six groups: "mission (slime mold)", "structure", "electronic / power supply", "heat (control)", "communication / ground station", and "attitude control". Students aim to success the project from their respective roles.
